Why proxies matter in multi-accounting
Platforms link accounts by IP, browser fingerprint, cookies and dozens of other signals. IP is one of the most visible — ten accounts from one IP is a red flag.
Pairing with an anti-detect browser
Proxies and anti-detect work together. The proxy masks the IP, the anti-detect hides the browser fingerprint. In an Octo, Dolphin or AdsPower profile you set a SOCKS5 proxy and all profile traffic goes through it.
Which proxies per platform
- Telegram — SOCKS5 or MTProto, sticky
- Twitter, VK — SOCKS5, sticky, one IP per account
- Instagram, TikTok, Facebook — residential or mobile; datacenter often gets banned
- Marketplaces (eBay) — residential with account warm-up
- Gmail, Google Ads — residential plus long-lived cookies
Practical rules
- Don't rotate IP on the same account every login
- Timezone and browser language must match the proxy geo
- WebRTC disabled — otherwise the real IP leaks
- Route DNS through the proxy, or your ISP sees raw queries
- Keep a separate cookie profile per account
