What residential proxies are
Residential proxies route through IPs assigned by a regular home ISP (Comcast, Deutsche Telekom, BT and thousands more). To the target site, such traffic looks indistinguishable from a real user on their home WiFi — so residential survives even the toughest anti-fraud systems (Cloudflare, PerimeterX, Akamai).
How they compare to datacenter and mobile
- Datacenter — fast and cheap, but easily detected by ASN
- Residential — mid-price, home ISPs, passes almost any anti-bot
- Mobile — priciest, CGNAT, highest trust
Residential is the sweet spot for most scraping workloads.
Where to use
- Marketplace scraping — Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Taobao
- SEO monitoring — SERP on Google, Bing, Yandex from specific cities
- Ad verification / brand protection — see how your creatives render across regions
- Sneaker bots and drop sites — where datacenter is already blocked
- Travel fare aggregation — flight/hotel prices differ by geo
Pricing
Residential is traditionally billed per GB. From $2/GB. Unlimited concurrent sessions, sticky session up to 30 minutes or per-request rotation — your choice.
